Sachin Jamdar, DDS is a talented Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He did his undergraduate training at Rutgers College, Rutgers University. He proceeded to do his dental training at the School of Dental Medicine, Columbia University. His oral and maxillofacial surgery training was completed at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center/Cornell Medical school.

His private practice includes the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with an emphasis on office based outpatient procedures including dental implants, bone grafting, dentoalveolar surgery, maxillofacial pathology, and general anesthesia. He is on staff at the North Shore Surgi Center and St. Catherine of Sienna Hospital, Mather Hospital and St.Charles Hospital where he teaches oral surgery to the general dental residents.
Leadership and Community Involvement
In addition to his private practice Dr. Jamdar is actively involved in continuing education. He runs the Smithtown Study club where he often lectures. He is a board delegate in the Suffolk County Dental Society. Dr. Jamdar donates his services by participating in Suffolk County’s Save a Smile program.
Beyond the Practice
Dr. Jamdar is married and has two daughters. In his spare time he likes to read and play tennis.

Firstly, l suffer from extreme dental anxiety and have since my childhood during the primitive era of dentistry in the 1950s and 60s. I needed to have a molar and the wisdom tooth behind it extracted and my regular dentist, who is great, sent me to Dr. Guariglia. He did a great, pain free, incredibly skilled job of extracting the teeth and doing a bone graft for a future implant. There was virtually no post-operative pain or swelling and though I had the prescription for painkillers filled, I did not need them. I didn’t even need Tylenol or an NSAID. There was only minor bleeding afterwards but it only lasted a few hours. Given the level of anxiety that I experienced beforehand, I realized the worry was totally unwarranted. I give my highest praise and recommendation to Dr. Guariglia and his excellent staff. Dentistry and dental surgery have advanced light years since my childhood. It couldn’t have been a better experience.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Mundiya and the incredible team. Like many, I was extremely anxious and nervous about my tooth extraction. Jessica was an angel and held my hand. I had a a decaying wisdom removed.
From the moment I walked into the office, the staff made me feel completely at ease. They were kind, patient, and took the time to explain every step of the process, answering all my questions thoroughly. The office environment was calm and welcoming.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mundiya to anyone in need of oral surgery, especially if you have dental anxiety. They have changed my perception of dental procedures and I am so grateful for the exceptional care I received. Thank you for everything!

Such a great experience with Dr. First and this oral surgery team! My 10 year old was nervous, but everyone made him feel so comfortable. Ms. Sandy and the other assistants were absolute angels so patient, sweet, and amazing.
And Dr. First himself? Super knowledgeable, took his time explaining everything, and had my son laughing before he even sat in the chair. We even forgive him for being an Islanders fan 🧡
Truly a wonderful group who cares about their patients. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a friendly and skilled oral surgery office!
